At Credit Karma, we make security a priority. This means we can only allow one Credit Karma account per email address.
If you and another person currently share an email account and would both like Credit Karma accounts, we recommend signing up for another email address. There are many free services available and it generally takes just a couple minutes.
What if someone is already using my email address for their Credit Karma account?
If you’ve given someone permission to sign up with your email address, you can:
Create a new email address for yourself.
Have the other person change their email address in their Credit Karma profile. Once your email address is no longer in use, you can use it to register your own Credit Karma account.
If the person does not have permission to use your email address, you can:
Contact our member support team and we’ll look into the issue for you.
