#Good news! The IRS has extended the tax deadline to April 18th! As long as you submit your federal return by midnight on 4/18/2018, you won't be considered a late filer for your federal return. Direct debit tax payments that are submitted with your federal return (or on the IRS website) by 4/18 are also considered timely filed ×

What happens if my return is rejected?

If your return is rejected, we will send you an email. You will be able to log back into your Credit Karma Tax account to see the reason for the rejection from the IRS or state department, and then, if possible, edit your return and submit again.

Check out our article for more information on what to do if the IRS rejects your tax return.
