#Good news! The IRS has extended the tax deadline to April 18th! As long as you submit your federal return by midnight on 4/18/2018, you won't be considered a late filer for your federal return. Direct debit tax payments that are submitted with your federal return (or on the IRS website) by 4/18 are also considered timely filed ×

Can I get an electronic filing PIN?

The IRS no longer uses electronic filing PINs. Instead, you will enter your Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) from last year’s tax return.

If you self-selected your PIN number last year, you can use it to file as well. This would be a five digit number, except for all zeroes, that you selected when filing your taxes last year. For more information, check out the IRS website.
